Term 1: Introduction to Real-Time 3D for AEC

The course aims to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of real-time 3D and Unreal Engine, which are widely used in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. you will gain foundational knowledge in real-time 3D technology and explore how it can be applied in the AEC sector.

*This course (or equivalent experience) is a prerequisite for the next levels.

Term 2: How to Create Photoreal Architectural Visualizations


Lectures: 8 Sessions over 8 weeks | 
Duration: 16 Hours of training | Q&A sessions: 1 session every 2 weeks

 

Learn the art of creating realistic visualizations of unbuilt architecture

In this course, we will build up on what we learned in the basics of Unreal Engine to create more advanced lighting, and materials and learn how to manage larger amounts of data.
 

Term 3: Blueprint & Visual Scripting to Add Layers of Interactivity

In this 8-week course, you'll learn how to take your architectural visualization skills to the next level with this 8-week course on Unreal Engine. Learn how to optimize, package, and add interactivity to your projects, By the end of the course, you'll have a polished and ready-to-distribute interactive project to add to your portfolio.

Term 4: Learn How to Build Immersive Virtual Reality Experiences

In this 8-week course, you'll dive into the world of virtual reality development using Unreal Engine. Learn how to create immersive & Optimized VR experiences, From 3D modeling & asset creation, and Static lighting to navigation and interaction design. You'll also learn best practices for optimization and performance in virtual reality, as well as how to deploy and test your VR projects. By the end of the course, you'll have a polished portfolio project featuring a photoreal architectural visualization in virtual reality.
 

Term 5: Bringing Life & Working With Large Scale Projects.

Learn how to visualize the earth in Unreal Engine. Create large-scale architectural projects, import and work with Geo and OSM data, and add crowds and traffic systems to bring life to your projects. Master data preparation, import, and automation, and learn best practices for optimization and performance. Create a final portfolio project featuring a large-scale architectural project in Unreal Engine.

I started learning Unreal Engine in 2015. I worked on projects in Architecture, Virtual Reality, Game Environments, and building virtual environments for brands who are exploring the Metaverse.
